Mission Statement: To improve the overall health in the State of Hawai’i and reduce obesity of its residents by creating running programs that are available to everyone in Hawai’i.

Vision Statement:
Implement a variety of community service running programs to meet the health and wellness needs of all including:

  • Run clubs in communities and schools
  • Public events and races
  • Corporate running programs
  • Programs designed specifically for the overweight and obese, homeless, alcohol and substance abusers, kids, women, physically challenged, single parents, ex-offenders, and even the typical overworked two-income family.

Advisory Committee:
The main objective of the Advisory Committee will be to give direction to the Hawaii Running Project by voicing the opinion of the community. Determine the need for projects and help establish priority.

    Also will there be medals for the July 2019 half marathon in the Kai Ultra runs?

      Yes, medals for finishing all distances.
