It takes a lot of dedication and hard training to complete the series. Congratulations to everyone who took part this year.

That goes for 808 Race, Mid-Pacific Road Runners, and Boca Hawaii who put on the Series. You have no idea how much work goes on behind the scenes. And, they always do a great job!

If you are planning to run the Honolulu Marathon next year… I would strongly recommend that you take part in the 2023 Marathon Readiness Series. It’s a great way to train in race mode.

If you are not running the marathon this year and would like to help out…

There is a partially seeing impaired runner looking for a guide to assist them at the Start to Park 10K. Pace is around 9:40 to 10 minutes per mile. She is only partially impaired on the left side, and it’s the crowdedness of those on her immediate left side that is her concern. If you are interested in helping out, please let Coach Kawika know.

This Saturday we will start a new run in Ewa Beach.

Meet up 7 am at Geiger Park. Pass the word around and let people know about this run.

It’s always more fun running with others.
